Ordering
All work is custom and made to order. The average turnaround time is 3 to 4 months, though rush services are available for some types of work.
There are many options regarding materials and designs, so the ideal way to order is by meeting with Jeff in his studio. If this isn’t possible it is of course fine to discuss your project by phone or E-Mail.
Material Samples
A set of swatch books is available by mail for a $30 deposit (this can be applied to your order if you return the samples). The sample package includes a leather color chart and a large variety of bookcloths. Please let us know if you require specific samples such as decorative papers or other. You can view online samples of many of the products Jeff uses at on the Talas website.
Prices
A few words about pricing...
Because of the custom nature of the work it is impossible to offer a price list. Bear in mind that hand bookbinding is labor intensive and we use only the highest quality materials available.
In short, prices are as custom as the work. Please provide as many details about your project as you can when requesting estimates.
